I have twenty-one years of experience in the service, music and events industries, with sixteen of those behind the bar. My experience encompasses a variety of environments; from Michelin Star tasting menus, formal fine dining, corporate events, weddings of all sizes and calibers, rustic/casual fine dining, high-end nightclub, neighborhood bar and high-volume music festivals. I created and directed three distinct bar programs/revenue streams for a prestigious and James Beard Nominated restaurant group (150 employees) for five and a half years. I have overseen projects involving both opening new bars as well as remodels/rebranding. I enjoy educating others on wine, spirits and service that emphasizes etiquette and genuine hospitality. I am interested in expanding my prowess in event planning, management and logistics - utilizing my knowledge from years of music booking/touring/festival logistics in addition to experiences as a service leader. I also genuinely enjoy public speaking and presentation - I love to participate in industry discussions and educate. I am regularly hired as an adjudicator for both wine and spirits judgings.
